A monster trailer and a farm truck were spotted parked in Denalis backcountry Friday morning.
The monster truck had a silver license plate that read “CAMPBELL” with a “JACK” on it, according to the Alaska Highway Patrol.
A white trailer with the license plate “BANANAS” was parked in the driveway of the farm truck.
The farm truck was a “large tractor trailer with a large trailer bed and several trailer hitch sets.”
The trailers were both covered in paint and “there were two trailers on the front of the truck that were damaged by the fire,” according to Alaska Highway patrol.
The trailer was also reported to be a “monster truck,” but the highway patrol said it wasn’t clear whether that was what it was.
The highway patrol’s Facebook post on Friday evening said the truck had been reported stolen from an address in Fairbanks, Alaska.
A police report indicated the vehicle had been stolen in Anchorage, Alaska on June 12.
The post also noted that the “CAMPS” tag on the trailer was for “campbell,” but no one immediately answered the call to confirm whether that meant the truck was related to the AMC monster truck series.
